I’m game for that. Got a plan for how to “get rid of the nukes altogether”? As far as I can tell, there’s no viable plan/possibility right now, which means we’ve got to deal with the hand which we are dealt. I’d like for that hand to not leak extra radiation or have old, faulty triggers. Call me crazy.

Reagan, wouldn’t it be better to get rid of the nukes altogether? Do we really need to spend billions maintaining an arsenal of weapons that no moral nation would ever use? It’s time to beat your swords into ploughshares. Reap the peace dividend. Use those billions to create jobs that aren’t centered around an industry that could lead to the deaths of millions of civilians.

Would be comical if not tragic … what we don’t need is more protests by those who have ZERO clue as to what goes on at the NNSA facility, and instead want to impose their narrow political will for their own purposes, while threatening all with the loss of jobs and diminished national security.
